Iron sharpens iron, and one man sharpens another. (Proverbs 27:17)
...fan into flame the gift of God, which is in you through the laying on of my hands, for God gave us a spirit not of fear but of power and love and self-control. (2 Timothy 1:6-7)
Men and boys of all ages, join your brothers at Zion's fire pit for fellowship and food from the grill. Swap fish stories and corny jokes, sound advice and hard-won experience. Come and learn to live your vocation as a son, brother, husband, father, worker, and man of God. Come and learn to rely on your brothers as we bear each other's burdens (Galatians 6:1-2), and so all become stronger. Come and exercise your faith together with us to build up the body of Christ "until we all attain to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to mature manhood, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ." (Ephesians 4:13) Fathers, bring your sons. Men, bring your brothers, or friends who need a brother. Bring some food to share if you can.
